On June 30, 2026, the union contract between the New York City hotel industry and the union representing the City’s hotel workers is set to expire. While we are hopeful that the industry agrees to a fair contract well before the expiration date, there is a distinct possibility that there will be strikes, pickets, and lockouts at some NYC hotels during America250.
